MyClearStep Team



Nati has held a number of high tech management positions in Silicon Valley over the past twenty years with an extensive background in big data and  innovation. In early 2020, Nati identified a need to improve virtual eating disorder treatment and created MyClearStep with a mission  to reduce the anxiety, stress , cost, and time of collecting health data for both clients and clinicians. He has a passion for creating technology that has a positive impact on health outcomes in the world.


VP of Business Development

Clayton Key joined the MyClearStep team in 2020. He earned his BS in Kinesiology from the University of Central Oklahoma and MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to his time with MyClearStep, he spend a decade in the health and fitness field helping individuals live an active and healthy lifestyle. He currently resides in Austin, TX and spends his leisure time outdoors with his Labrador Retriever Leo.


Relationship Manager & Product Specialist

Sharone Sapir has a Masters of Science degree in Nutrition Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She joined MyClearStep in 2020 and is dedicated to ensuring that both clients and clinicians get an optimal experience in virtual care. She has always been passionate about making things easier for those who struggle, and is proud to work on a product that does so. She currently resides in New York, NY and when she isn’t helping clinicians and clients, she loves spending time with her husband and two daughters.


Markting Manger

Arti joined the MyClearStep team in 2021. She graduated from Drexel University with a degree in Finance and Marketing and has worked in a range of industries. She currently resides in Philadelphia, PA and her passion includes addressing disparities in healthcare and the intersection of healthcare, technology and business.

Chris Harris, Ph.D. LPC-MHSP

Advisory Board Chair

Dr. Harris received his Ph.D. in clinical counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. He is a licensed professional counselor with a mental health service designation. Dr. Harris has been in the behavioral health field for over 15 years in a variety of settings. His research has focused on clinical compassion satisfaction and fatigue in mental health clinicians. He also has specialized training in treating Eating Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and Trauma. He is one of the original collaborators of the MyClearStep scale.


Shelly Bar, MD

Dr. Bar is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Stanford University Medical School. She carries a subspeciality degree in Adolescent Medicine from Stanford. Dr. Bar completed her Eating Disorder and Young Adult Specialty at Stanford’s Lucille Packard Hospital and through experience on the eating disorder unit at El Camino Hospital. Dr. Bar developed protocol at Facebook Wellness Center for young adults managing the medical effects of their eating disorders and supported her patients in treating depression and anxiety. She currently works with university students at Stanford Vaden Health Center. Dr. Bar’s passion is in supporting her patients to effectively address the medical complications of eating disorders and disordered eating.


Sierra Bloodgood

Sierra is the CEO of Brewbike, a student-run coffee company on college campuses across the country, and founder of Sonder Built, a tech-focused marketing agency. Sierra is an advocate for eating disorder recovery and awareness after receiving residential treatment at Oliver-Pyatt Centers and outpatient therapy at the Medical Center for Eating Disorders with Dr. Edward Tyson. She believes recovery is possible and is committed to helping others achieve freedom from ED.


Jessica-Lauren Newby MA, RDN, LD, CEDRD, IBCLC

Jessica-Lauren Newby received her Bachelor of Human Environmental Sciences and Master of Arts in Health Studies from the University of Alabama. While pursuing her PhD at Auburn University, she pioneered nutrition services, championed weight inclusivity across campus, and expanded care for eating disorders. She opened her virtual private practice in 2017 as a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian through IAEDP. i. She now works full-time in private practice with expertise in eating disorders, women’s health, lactation, and pediatrics. Newby has served as supervisor, preceptor, and mentor to hundreds of students, and provides training in her specialty as a CEDRD-Supervisor.


Ellyn Silverman RD, MPH, CEDRD-S

Ellyn Silverman-Linnetz is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian Supervisor (CEDRD-S). She practices an integrative approach to nutrition intervention which includes helping clients improve their relationship with food and find peace in their bodies so they can show up for what is most important in life. Ellyn has a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Public Health from the University of South Carolina. She also completed a Fellowship at USC in Metabolic Dysregulation as well as her Physician’s Assistant degree. She has authored many publications, written chapters on a variety of topics and is a national speaker on nutrition health.


Kristie Simmons, MS, RD, CEDRD-S

Kristie Simmons is the Virtual Nutrition Manager for Eating Recovery Center. She started her career with ERC in Denver, CO, and has worked there since 2012.  During her time with ERC, she has had the opportunity to support at several different facilities and centers across the country. Kristie has worked with the child and adolescent and adult populations as well as across the levels of care. In 2017, Kristie jumped at the opportunity to help develop the nutrition program for the new Virtual IOP. Kristie speaks across the country on how to provide high-quality and ethical virtual eating disorder treatment. Kristie is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian and Approved Supervisor through IAEDP.


Courtney P. Stoddard, MS, RD, LDN, CEDRD

Courtney has worked in behavioral health for over 12 years. She has worked in private practice, residential, and intensive outpatient services of care.  She believes in developing healthy relationships with food by practicing a non-diet approach of balance and moderation, teaching permission vs. restriction. She is DBT trained and uses a small-step goal-oriented client-driven technique that incorporates body positivity and mindfulness practices. 


Melissa Walden MS, LPC, CEDS

Melissa Walden is a certified Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals and  psychotherapist that holds a MS in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Currently she has a private practice with a group of clinicians that make up The Eating Disorder Support Network in Madison, WI. She has worked at all levels of care including, inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings.She works in combination with patients and families to meet therapeutic goals by using a combination of treatment interventions that include a psychodynamic approach, as well as skill-building using both cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies.


Jaimie Winkler, RD, LDN, CEDRD-S

Jamie Winkler is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist, and Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian and Supervisor. She holds a degree in nutrition from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and completed her dietetic internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Her career began at Klarman Eating Disorder Center at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts for 8 years as their lead Dietitian. In 2015, Jaimie moved to full time practice focused on evidence-based nutrition. She is the current Publications Chair of the Behavioral Health Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and enjoys writing and design. Jaimie has led groups on healthy eating in schools and sports teams, outpatient eating disorder groups, lectured in the Boston University nursing program, with the Massachusetts General Hospital Eating Disorder Program, and helped design two school-based nutrition education programs.
